Hey guys.
So my PC, literally, is a piece of crap, and if I run AoS in 800x600 Dimensions, it's laggy as bloody hell.
So I run it in 640x480 (editing the config.ini), and it's awesome, very fast- no lag at all!
But the prob' is, when I press "M" (To open the map) The game crashes....
I asked a lot of people and they told me that the map image is 512 Pixels, so basically my Dimensions needs to be bigger than 512.
But the only Dimensions that works and is bigger than 512, is 800x600 and up (as far as I know).

So is there anything I can do to fix this? Is there a Dimension that is between 800x600 and 512?
Also, is there anyway to change the map size? (make is smaller than 512)

maps can not be smaller then 512. A size between 800x600 and 512 could be 799x599 Blue_Tongue

Ya, I tried it in 640 by 480 once, and I couldn't open the map either. Always crashed.
(I always play on 800 by 600 though)

Can you increase the game size just a little bit more?

The height must be larger than 512, not sure by how much. Try 550 at least.

Well that's the problem, if I want to try a dimension more than 512, the game won't open (unless it's 800x600)

I think the only way not to have you game crash is not open the map. Might be a pain in the a** but at least you can play your game in a playable fps.
