Honestly, I love messing around in slab6.
I was making an "Improved Rifle" and this happened.
The gun looks decent in first person, but the gun looks like a gigantic rocket launcher in third person.

This guy is holding the gun, like a rocket launcher.

I need assistance about this, so if you do know how to fix it, reply.

The easiest way I can think of to fix the problem is to either lower the X and Y coordinates of the models of the sights or add on some type of suspension thing underneath the sights on the weapon model to make it look like if the sights are attached to the gun. Green_Wink1

Edit : I forgot for the large weapons on the other players just either make the models smaller or in the source files ( or codes idk I forgot ) just make the values smaller. There are some tutorials on the main OpenSpades Discussion Forums. Green_Happy1

Pro tip, just because it looks good in slab6 doesn't mean it will look the same in game. If it's big in slab6, it's gonna be a beast in game. Build off the dimensions of the original.

So, does that mean that I have to change the dimensions applied on the rifle itself? I can see that some modders make guns that are basically huge in slab6, but it applies to be small in the game itself.

you just need to learn how to script
or steal someone else's script and keep the dimensions of their mods.

Good idea mate, I'm gonna go try some available scripts to keep the dimensions.

i think you can download a mod, to have png sights (not 3D sights) :
http://yvt.jp/files/programs/osppaks/pngsight-5.pak

(install : GameDirectory/Resources -> copy/paste pngsight-5 in this folder)

.... Or you need to open slab 6, press enter, and try to move the sights on the Y/X axes (more difficult).

Thanks for the tip, but I'm not really having problems with the sight itself, I'm having problems with the size of the gun.
