Stinky:
An older map I've never officially released. I intended to write a mapping tutorial with this map but I gave up on it due to my crappy english. Maybe I am going to finish it someday. The map itself features many hills, different flanking routes and big trees for some cover, so it might be a bit too big for a 5vs5 match.
Utopia
Not much to say here. I've only spent little time creating this map but still it's one of my favourites so far, go play on it!
Spitfire
Another very simple map - at least terrain wise. The middle of the map is very flat, you have to hide behind trees, bushes or holes to survive. There is also an underground bunker near the middle of the map.

What tools do you generally use for your maps ? ^^
"Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger"
Silnius wrote:What tools do you generally use for your maps ? ^^I use jojoestinky's terrain template or paint.net to create the heightmap. Next I usually create the colormap with either colourbyheight.py or texturemaker. The shading is done in texturemaker or with yourself's colormap tools. For the water layer I usually search for textures on the internet, use the ones in jojoestinky's folder or create my own textures in gimp or paint.net. The water texture can be inserted with the pyspades map editor afterwards.

OMG! Very nice indeed.
I never thought anyone would be able to understand my gibberish!
I like spitfire the most for creativity, and then Utopia for general layout. (I like small maps!)
Texturemaker is definitely the way to go if you want the crisp-clean look on the height-maps. The advanced Mixer tools I included will automatically cut out the water for you 100% of the time. Plus you have literally hundreds of texture making tools right at your fingertips.
Would you happen to still have a copy of my blender template? It would really save me a lot of time coloring things.
I have an entirely new one, and the height-map shader complete thanks to Kuma's help this morning.
Anyways, Lovely to see everyone still around.
Thanks for keeping all these tools alive @Lostmotel great work!
