The TEC-9 is a weapon set to appear in Battlefield Hardline. It is the default sidearm issued to the Professional kit and is fully automatic. Unlike most other standard weapons, the TEC-9 is only equipped with its iron sights by default, and cannot mount any underbarrel attachments.

The tec-9 was bought in large numbers from criminals due to their ability to be modded to shoot in full auto, thanks to their Open Bolt Design, and have been used in various crimes.
