Welcome to the events section!

Hi there, and welcome to the new events section of the site! Here, you can create a topic for any event you feel like hosting, whether it be a forum competition, an Ace of Spades competition, or a competition for another game.
Your topic should contain the name of your event, and specify if it's a forum competition or a game competition (in which case, you would specify what game it is). In your post, you should answer the following questions:
-What is happening in this event?
-Who is hosting the event?
-How do I participate in the event?
-When is the event?
Please include any download links necessary if your event is going to take place in another game. Other than that, there aren't really too many guidelines, other than giving everyone a fair chance to participate (with obvious exceptions).
If there's anything you feel is missing from this topic, feel free to write a reply and I'll add it.

What will get global announcement treatment and how long?
persistent events like a 1v1 tournament, we will highlight during the registration process. For a week.
Events where players can show up the day of, we will highlight 3 days before hand.
Voting we will highlight for a week.
Dont be shy to send a pm with a link to your event if it qualifies as a global announcement.
