Create a project, the Improved Teaching Act, for a standardised teaching course to be followed by schools with a series of basic required subjects and knowledges, including Math, English(or whatever native language we speak), Natural Sciences, History and Geography, divided in Physical and Political Geographies in later years. Any other subjects are encouraged, but not necessary. This is not necessary for private schools, only for Public Schools, but private schools who do follow it receive incentives.
