Hey all!
The title kind of explains the problem. I was trying to create a server (Pysnip) so I could play with my friends on what game mode/map/etc. etc we want, and everything seemed to be going fine. My one friend was able to keep connecting no problem, we were testing different game mode scripts to make sure they worked.

However, later on he, nor any of my friends, were able to connect anymore consistently. They kept receiving the error "Server connection failed". However, they are able to connect sometimes, only sometimes. And I have no idea why they can not always connect.
I tried disabling all my firewalls, no luck. I forwarded the port, and would imagine it worked cause they were all able to connect at least once. I'm running it via Pysnip. I've searched the forums, I can't seem to find anything that fixes my problem of people only sometimes being able to connect. It connects to the master server fine, and I connect locally (which works fine, as it should).

Here is the log, which is pretty much the same log others have/had.
Code: Select all
2013-06-15 12:29:38-0400 [-] pyspades server started on 06/15/13 12:29:38

2013-06-15 12:29:41-0400 [-] Master connection established.
2013-06-15 12:29:41-0400 [HTTPPageGetter,client] Server identifier is aos://1946038340:32887
2013-06-15 12:29:41-0400 [HTTPPageGetter,client] Stopping factory <HTTPClientFactory: http://services.buildandshoot.com/getip>
2013-06-15 12:29:42-0400 [HTTPPageGetter,client] Stopping factory <HTTPClientFactory: http://blacklist.spadille.net/subscribe.php?format=json>
Any ideas? Missing .dat files, or scripts or anything? Also, I would like to know if those "Stopping factory" lines are proper protocol for running the server.
I have the server left up, if you want to see the "Server connection failed" for any reason, or to see if you're one of the lucky ones that manages to connect sometimes.
Let me know if there is any more info you need.

Were you at first connecting with Hamachi or were you using the portfoward method the whole time?

Just the portforward method.
