The Packs subforum is a place where people come to find the perfect pack for them. To avoid any confusion, please follow these rules when posting a new topic;

1. Make sure it is a pack:

Have a look at what your pack contains. A good pack will modify most, if not all, models in the game. If yours doesn't, have a look at the list below to see where it would be better suited;
Weapons (with or without scopes)
Scopes (without weapons)
Player Models
Sounds (walking/reloading/etc)
Splash Screens (the screen that shows when you're entering a server)

If your pack consists solely of any of those, you'd be better off posting them in that forum. If it contains a combination of those, it belongs here!

2. Post pictures of your pack:

As the saying goes, "No pics, no clicks". People want to see what it is you're offering before they go to download it. It's easy enough to take a screenshot and upload it to an image-hosting website (such as imgur.com or tinypic.com), so there's no excuse for not doing it.

3. Make sure it is your own work:

Nothing makes people madder than someone taking someone else's work and passing it off as their own. Any such posts will be deleted and may result in a warning if you keep doing it.

The only exception to this rule is if you have the original creator's permission, and you give them credit in your post. Failure to have either of those will also lead to your post being deleted.

4. Upload it to a well-known file hosting service:

People will be a bit sceptical if the link is to a website such as not-a-virus.net. You could use it all the time and know it's safe, but other people won't.

Also, file-hosting sites that makes non-members wait several minutes before they download it, or display obnoxious advertisements before allowing people to download are also bad choices. Use something like SendSpace.com or Mediafire.com.

Other than those 4 easy-to-follow rules, go wild, and make some awesome packs!

This is actually a really good idea influx, hopefully more mods will incorporate custom sounds because of this.
