AoS has no real water blocks, it's just the lowest level. The blocks directly above the water can not be added or removed on the Voxlap client. But it does work fine with OpenSpades and should work fine with BetterSpades too.

OpenSpades animations are just in Code right now and not very easy to understand due to use of Matrixes etc... Because of this, making animations is not trivial right now... YVT is unhappy about this too, but that's the way it is right now. Someone could make a tutorial on how to do it but it's not ...

No, that IP is local to your machine. If you want to make the server accessible in your LAN you need to pick the IP address of your computer in the LAN. If you want to make it publicly accessible you need to mess with port forwarding and stuff. How you do this depends a lot on your router.

Yes, this is a bit of a flaw. The server lists the public IP, but your router firewall/NAT does not pass it on. This means you need to use a local IP instead. With OpenSpades, you can just enter an IP into the aos:// url like "aos://127.0.0.1:32887" and it should work, with the classic client you ne...

OpenSpades has third person, but it's basically useless for actually playing the game. And yes, making third person work would basically be cheating. Unless you make it a server-side flag like in e.g. ARMA. But that kind of modification of the protocol is still a bit away.

The only thing I can think of is you don't have an internet connection, in which case I'm surprised you can post stuff.

Since nobody has mentioned it: You need to run your own server to be able to play without internet access.

The flashlight is local-only. The flashlight was not in the original game, it was added by OpenSpades so no way to inform other players of the flashlight status exists in the protocol.
