Sounds like you're describing the 1.x forums more than this one.
I'm not describing the forums, I'm describing the game itself.

What you're suggesting is the exact opposite of what this game needs. We do not need to keep 0.75 on life support, we need to extend it, I have been saying this for the past 3 fucking years. What OpenSpades needs is to become its own thing, we have an open-source client and server, we can extend th...

longbyte1, don't talk to the spambot, just click the report button and carry on, so I don't have to click the report button and tell you to click the report button and carry on in future even though when you click it it will probably say someone's reported the post already. And I thought we agreed t...

Turns out someone bought the domain after all and just pointed it to BnS. OK, crisis averted.

Hey, if we're going to play the race card, at one point if you checked Google Trends for "ace of spades hacks", USA, Germany, and Brazil were right up the top, while the only other listed country was Australia.

Honestly, Poland mostly disappeared around 0.70.

Oh well you should have just told me glsl 1.10 doesn't support #version lines. Open your eyes: Version 1.10 of the language does not require shaders to include [the #version] directive, and shaders that do not include a #version directive will be treated as targeting version 1.10 . (emphasis mine) ...

Yeah, and it will also bring back some more of the old community *hopefully*
Only if we bring back the versions that don't suck arse

And how much does jagex want us to pay for it judging by how greedy those faggots are?
Not as greedy as the faggots who botted the domain.

why couldn't the fix be to add a #version line?
It probably wouldn't fix it. Plus, if the aim is to get it working on GL 2.0 and up, then that needs GLSL 1.10, which DOES NOT HAVE A VERSION LINE.

Honestly, the true solution is to bleach the gene pool.

But, you see, I think I still prefer a sensible solution that costs nothing than spending 35 dollars on something I don't really need. If you really want your AoS fix such that you "need" it, then $35 is well worth it. It does more than just AoS - if you've got some old PS1 games, you can rip them ...

A whois query reveals that dropcatch stole it. Faggots. AFAIK izzy uses 1and1 to register stuff. More info on that sort of shit here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_drop_catching It may be possible to pay Jagex to get the domain name back and hand it over to here, if they're interested. Would ...

maybe uh yvt should have included a #version next time?
Maybe GPU driver writers shouldn't be such fuckwits.

Until then, the fix is to rename the instances of `filter` with sometihng else, e.g. `fuck_amd`.

If it was cybersquatted there would already be contact information to buy it. Wouldn't take very long to make a web page saying "contact me if you want to buy website for $1000000" There's still no evidence that we bought it. So we can't do anything with it at this stage. not sure how things have c...

OpenSpades is too heavy for my grandma's rig A Raspberry Pi 3 costs $35 and if you get the experimental OpenGL driver working it can run OpenSpades at 30fps. No excuses now. I did not say "it runs just fine", because there are a few crash issues (which I've fixed on mine) and a few graphical issues...
