Yeah, it can change stuff a lot. People will think carefully whether or not they should go to a battle, instead of ramboing. This is a great improvement, but I'm not sure whether the average server admins like it. Well I know a lot of the AoS player base favour a casual approach to the game, hence ...

It would even be more realistic if you had to/could move bullets from clip to clip when you stay/wait/whatever. Also, the point is the fact that it goes slowly, so one can "prepare" for a battle, or sth, but not move bullets while fighting. But I see, that's kinda useless, if you only want to chang...

This has to be one of my favorite new scripts, it's an awesome idea that has been implemented into the game perfectly. Definitely using this on my private servers. Awesome job! (as usual) :P Thanks! It's always nice to know your work is appreciated. I hope you have fun with it, and let me know how ...

Great idea. I suggest that slowly, bullets are transferred from clip to clip to form full and empty ones, but that would make it too complex I guess. It wouldn't be too complex to make, but I like to try and add a bit of realism to the game, and bullets that magically move between clips isn't very ...

I lik...

This is a script that was inspired by the script "realclip" from leif_the_head (found in this topic ) It enables players to have realistic-acting clips for their weapons. Instead of just taking x amount of bullets from the stock to fill the clip when a player reloads, this script remembers how many ...

Map looks very nice, lots of attention to detail which is something I believe is important in making good maps. I've also merged your two topics together - it's generally good practice to just update the first post in your topic rather than creating a new topic for each update. You might want to add...

This is a very impressive map. I like how it's not symmetrical, and it has a very natural feel about it. Those trees are very nicely done as well. Good work! As for the URL, I thought everyone was aware that that's where the map repo is hosted, so despite the name, it's not a hack site. It may have ...

The history of AoS and B&S was a very interesting read and filled in a lot of the blanks for me regarding the split. Thanks for posting it, Dan.

What is it with people being lazy with map-making these days? It seems like lot of people don't even bother to try and put any effort in these days. Now, I don't mean to single you out, Jdrew, but this map is a very good example of what I mean; I did use the textures found in the rig though for the ...

This map has a very nice look about it. Those apartment blocks look very nicely modelled, so if you made those yourself then well done. Although I've yet to play it, there are a few points I'd make; From the screenshots, parts of the map look very flat, especially in the built-up area. Once the buil...

What a great looking map and set of tutorials! I started out doing all my maps in a 2D application called Texture maker. Making height maps are essential for great terrains :) +1 for the awesome screenshots from openspades! Thanks! I'd go so far as to say that heightmaps are the most important part...

The detail in this tutorial is amazing. You really went a long way, and did a nice thing for the community with this. Thank you! Thanks, JoJoe. While I very much doubt you'd need to use this tutorial, since you can produce great maps at the drop of a hat already, I hope it can maybe inspire others ...
